  • The Russian Federal Tax Service has made a suggestion for the bill “On Digital Currency,” proposing that entities be allowed to engage in foreign trade using bitcoin and crypto.
  • This recommendation comes after the Ministry of Finance submitted a draft bill earlier this year which also discussed bitcoin mining.
  • This legislation would allow corporate entities to accept bitcoin as a means of payment for goods, works and services in foreign trades.

Russia’s tax authority proposed that legal entities in the country should be able to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment in foreign trade contracts, local newspaper Izvestia reported.
